TORONTO, ONTARIO – September 20, 2026 – Join Toronto mayoral candidates Chris Alexander, Brad Bradford and Olivia Chow for a debate on the key matters facing the citizens of our city.
Toronto’s tenant, renter and residents’ associations are inviting the public to the Toronto Mayoral Debate 2026, presented by the Federation of South Toronto Residents’ Association, the Ontario Renters Coalition, and the Federation of North Toronto Residents’ Association.
Mayoral candidates Chris Alexander, Brad Bradford and Olivia Chow will discuss four major issues shaping Toronto’s future: Housing, Affordability, Engagement and Thrivability.
The debate will be moderated by Nicole Swerhun of Third-Party Public.

Bloor Street Mile: Bloor Street Vehicle Closure
The Bloor Street Mile will close Bloor Street between Bathurst Street and Yonge Street to vehicles on Sunday September 27th from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The Bloor Street Mile is Toronto's signature one mile road race that trades traffic for momentum in this classic distance race. Note that buildings with garage access on Bloor Street will be unable to use their garages during the road closure.
